What are the best bike excursions in Québec City?

The Québec City region is a great place to explore by bike: the river, the old city, Montmorency Falls, the South Shore. Here are the excursions our guides lead most often, all from 289 rue Saint-Paul in the Old Port. Each one is also available as a private tour.

Cyclo Services guided bike tours in Québec City

Montmorency Falls via the Corridor du Littoral

The route leaves Old Québec on the Corridor du Littoral and follows the river to the foot of Montmorency Falls, higher than Niagara Falls. About 25 km round trip, on bike paths. A half-day that combines nature, Beauport history and one of the best viewpoints in the region. See the Montmorency Falls tour.

Old Québec’s Upper Town

On an e-bike, we ride from the Promenade Samuel-De Champlain to the foot of Côte Gilmour, which we climb effortlessly on the path that follows the route taken by the British army in 1759. The rest of the route reveals the charms of the Upper Town. See the Old Québec tour.

Québec City from across the river: ferry and Lévis coves

The boat crossing offers the best view of Old Québec and the Château Frontenac. On the other side, the route follows the coves path to the Lévis docks, between cliffs and shoreline, before returning on the same ferry. See the Ferry and Lévis coves tour.

Along the river to Sillery

From Place Royale, we follow the St. Lawrence to the Quai des Cageux and its observation tower, then climb to Sillery, Saint-Michel Church and the Bois-de-Coulonge estate. Back via the Promenade Samuel-De Champlain. A route open to kids from age 6. See the Along the River tour.

All these routes can also be done without a guide: rent a bike in the Old Port and ask us for a bike path map and route tips at the counter.
