How to choose the right rental bike for your level and route

City bikes

Usually designed with flat handlebars, this very popular type of bike is perfect for rides in town and over short distances. Its wide saddle and tires also give you more comfort on your outing and handle bumps better. In short, it’s the ideal ride for people who don’t bike much or who want to get started this summer in Québec City!

Road bikes

The “road bike” category covers several different types of bikes, often designed for group rides. Some of our models, for example, have knobby tires so you can ride on gravel. Others, on the contrary, have narrow tires and a light frame so you can reach higher speeds without tiring.

E-bikes

Unlike our conventional bikes, our e-bikes have a motor designed to help you pedal over rough terrain without running out of breath. They’re also very useful for climbing hills, steep or not.

For rentals, the e-bike is reserved for riders 18 and older.

Tandem bikes

If you often travel as a pair and want to stay close to your partner or friend, try one of our tandem bikes! As the name suggests, this bike with a very long frame is designed to carry two people at once. Both riders pedal at the same time and enjoy the scenery together, even if they don’t have the same skills.
